Illegal Fireworks Depot Explodes in Ercolano: Three Dead

The blast, heard across Vesuvian towns, sent a towering plume of smoke into the sky. A massive explosion at an illegal fireworks depot near Naples, in Ercolano, killed an 18-year-old and twin sisters, 26, on their first day of work. Located in an isolated area on the border with San Giorgio a Cremano, the depot was preparing fireworks for New Year celebrations. Investigations are underway.

Davis Cup Clash: Italy ready to face Argentina in Quarter Finals 

The Italians have won three of five previous encounters and are aiming for a strong start. The National team is in Malaga, ready for their Davis Cup quarterfinal match against Argentina on November 21.
