Moscow reacts to Head of State’s speech

She refers to a speech for a lectio magistralis in Marseille, in which the President made a parallelism about the current aggression of Russia against Ukraine and the conqueror ambitions during the second world war. Full solidarity is expressed by the Premier Meloni, the Government, and by all the Italian parties to the President Mattarella.
Cyberattacks target transport and financial companies
“Mattarella Russophobe” is the claim behind the attacks. The pro-Russian hacker group NoName057(16) has launched cyberattacks targeting Italian systems. Among those affected by the attack are the airports of Linate and Malpensa, Intesa San Paolo, Trieste and Taranto harbours. The Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks are aimed at overwhelming the servers, making them inaccessible.
Prime minister in Paris, doubts raised over the meeting
An extraordinary summit to talk about “European security” has been convened by French Prime Minister Emmanuel Macron. The informal meeting is a response to the ongoing dialogue between the U.S. President Trump and his Russian counterpart, Putin. Prime Minister Meloni will attend the summit but has called the the meeting “a hasty decision”, considering a “unanimous response from Brussels” more appropriate.
Stellantis will produce in Termoli the gearboxes for hybrid cars
Stellantis is expanding its production of gearboxes for hybrid vehicles. Starting in 2026, Termoli will produce the gearboxes, targeting 300,000 units per year. This production will be linked to the existing production at Mirafiori and Metz. To support this production, Stellantis will increase the production in the Sint Truden and Metz factories.
Workplace accident in Northern Italy
A 44-year-old worker lost his life at the cosmetics company Comin Parfum in Ono San Pietro, in the Alta Vallecamonica area of Brescia. According to initial reports, he was crushed against a wall by an electric truck used for moving pallets used in the production of company products. Crushed in the chest, he died instantly. The authorities are on the scene and investigations are underway.
Dog attacks a baby at home
A 9-month-old is dead in Acerra, south Italy, due to the aggression of the family’s pitbull. The incident occurred while the baby was sleeping in her parents’ bed. The father initially claimed the attack was from a stray dog, but later confessed that the family pet was responsible. Neighbors had previously raised concerns about the dog’s aggressive behavior.

Anonymity violation for the ordinary Pnrr competition for teachers
The regional administrative court of Ancona has called off the practical test for the national competitive test for teachers. The reason is a violation of the principle of anonymity. During the test candidates were asked to write their name on the solution sheets compromising the transparency of the competition. The regions involved are five: Abruzzo, Emilia Romagna, Marche, Puglia and Umbria. The test has to be repeated.
Crisis unit activated after night of tremors
Campi Flegrei area, near Napoli, experienced a series of earthquakes. According to the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology, the magnitude reached 3.9 points at 12:19 AM. A total of six quakes were recorded by 5 AM. In response, Civil Protection convened a crisis unit, activating civil protection volunteers and opening reception areas for citizens in Pozzuoli, Bacoli, and Naples.
Juve defeats Inter in the Italian derby
