The BCE has allowed the Italian Unicredit to acquire the direct participation into Commerzbank until the 29,9%. The European Central Bank ensures the financial security of UniCredit and the respect of the rules of the acquisition. Unicredit also aims to start a constructive dialogue with the new German government. 

Father arrested after stabbing son to death 

A 44-year-old man died in Brindisi, a city in the Puglia Region after being stabbed by his 71-year-old father during a fight. The altercation may have been linked to the son’s drug addiction. The father has been arrested and is awaiting a custody hearing.

Pietro Genuardi passes away at 62

Actor, known for his roles in Centovetrine and Il Paradiso delle Signore, passed away in the morning of 14th Martch at the Policlinico Umberto I in Rome, where he had been hospitalized for several months. The news was shared by his wife Linda, son Jacopo, and parents Gabriella and Pippo. 

Investigation underway for the death in Pavia

A woman’s body was found in her home in a Lomabrdian region, with no signs of blood or forced entry. Authorities suspect strangulation, and investigations are ongoing. The woman’s partner, who was not home at the time, is being sought. Her daughter discovered the body, and firefighters were called due to a strong smell of gas.

Demna is the new art director of Gucci
