A 55-year-old man was shot dead in Marano di Napoli by a 41-year-old who later took his own life. The victim, partner of the shooter’s ex, was attacked in his car near a school during student arrival, causing panic among parents. The killer fled, then committed suicide. Death of a 13-year-old boy wounded by a gunshot

Farewell to Maestro Roberto De Simone
Renowned composer, director, and scholar of folk traditions, he died at 91 in his Naples home. Roberto De Simone had recently been discharged from hospital care. De Simone passed away shortly after 9 p.m. on Sunday 6th, surrounded by loved ones including his sister Giovanna and nephew Alessandro. Funeral arrangements are underway, likely scheduled for Wednesday 9th.
