In the early hours at around 1:30 a.m., 39-year-old entrepreneur Marco Veronese was fatally stabbed with 10 to 12 blade wounds at the intersection of Via Sabotino and Corso Francia, in the outskirts of Turin.  A hooded assailant fled the scene immediately after the attack while investigators from the Carabinieri are pursuing leads to identify the killer and establish the motive.
