Arrest made after an anti-Semitic attack in Milan

1ļøāƒ£Ā A man arrested following an attack on a group of orthodox Jewish people at Milan’s central station

The railway police have arrested a 25 year old Pakistani man who has a criminal record after an anti-Semitic attack in Milan’s central station. The man allegedly violently attacked one of them, kicking, punching them and striking them with a blunt object.

At a rally in Bari for local candidate Luigi Lubuono, Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni defends her budget again the criticism from the worker’s union, Confederazione Generale Italiana del Lavoro (CGIL). She rebuked the oppositions claim that it was a mini budget by saying that the budget could have been larger if it wasn’t for ā€˜Conte’s super bonus’.

Nuisance calls from abroad using fake Italian phone numbers will be blocked following a decision from Italian communications regulatory authority. This is in an effort to block unchecked telemarketing and teleselling.

Prime minister Giorgia Meloni has rejected a call from the leader of the opposition Elly Schlein, for the mass resignation of the Italy’s privacy watchdog over alleged conflicts of interest and bending to government pressure. Meloni rejected this on the basis that the commission was elected under a previous government.

An abandoned building in Collatina on the outskirts of Rome caught fire this morning. The building was occupied and one man, who launched himself out of a window to escape the fire, has been brought to hospital.

Exactly two years ago, Giulia Cecchettin was killed in a feminicide attack. Her father Gino Cecchettin, said that he has spent the last two years in pain. He calls on school to embrace emotional education and seeks to reduce the fears and misunderstandings when it comes to this fear.

Alberto Bertone, the founder of Acqua Sant’Anna, has passed away. According to his family and colleagues, he became a point of reference not only in his sector but for the wider Italian economy. Under his leadership Acqua Sant’Anna became the leader in Italian mineral water.
